The Victorious Life

And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin,
but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead,
and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
For sin shall not have dominion over you,
for you are not under law but under grace.”
Romans 6:13-14
Romans 6:13-14

We have to choose which side we are going to live our lives. If we choose to live our lives according to the desires of our flesh, then it would be a carnal, wasted, defeated life. If we choose to be on God’s side, then we will live a victorious, exciting, joyful life in the Holy Spirit. If we seek to live in the flesh, then we’re living according to the works of the flesh, and this is enmity against God. If we’re seeking to live by the Spirit of God, then we are now walking in the power and the anointing of God and God will bless our lives. But God will not make us walk with Him; neither will God force us to open our hearts to Him. God will not force us to walk on the side that He wants us to walk on. Therefore, God is pleading; God is beseeching; God is reasoning with man. God is after our hearts. Everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?(1 John 5:4-5) But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:57)
